Can someone please help me with these problems? I've been trying to balance them for a week now! Thank you so much!

1) NH4OH KAl(SO4)2 o (<-- that is the dot thing in the center which means the two equations are connected i think?) 12H2O -> Al(OH)3 (NH4)2SO4 KOH H2O

2) Pb(NO3)2 NaOH -> PbOH3 NaNO3

3) What is the coefficient in front of water, when it is produced from the reaction of hydrochloric acid with calcium hydroxide? Calcium chloride is the other product. (I think the formula is HCL CaOH2 -> H2O CaCl2... I just need it balanced)

4) A reaction occurs between sodium carbonate and hydrochloric acid producing sodium chloride, carbon dioxide, and water. balance the equation.

  1. 2) I wonder whether the equation is wrong!

    3) 2HCl + Ca(OH)2 ----> CaCl2 + 2H2O

    4) Na2CO3 + 2HCl ----> 2NaCl + CO2 + H2O

  2. i'll use ~ in replacement of the plus sign

    1. 4 NH4OH ~ KAl(SO4)2 . 12H2O -> Al(OH)3 ~ 2(NH4)2SO4 ~ KOH ~ 12 H2O

    2) Pb(NO3)2 ~ 2NaOH -> Pb(OH)2 ~ 2NaNO3

    3) What is the coefficient in front of water, when it is produced from the reaction of hydrochloric acid with calcium hydroxide? Calcium chloride is the other product.

    Ca(OH)2 ~ 2HCl = CaCl2 ~ 2H2O

    4) A reaction occurs between sodium carbonate and hydrochloric acid producing sodium chloride, carbon dioxide, and water. balance the equation.

    Na2CO3 ~ 2HCl = 2NaCl ~ CO2 ~ H2O

  3. 1) 4 NH4OH & KAl(SO4)2 . 12H2O -> Al(OH)3 & 2(NH4)2SO4 & KOH & 12 H2O

    2) Pb(NO3)2 & 2 NaOH -> Pb(OH)2  & 2 NaNO3

    3) 2 HCL & CaOH2 -> 2 H2O & CaCl2

    4) 1 NaHCO3 & 1HCl --> 1NaCl & 1CO2 & 1H2O
