  1. both of your other two answerers are right on your first listing,

    yes there is some H2CO3 dissolved in the water.

    but it primarily exist as CO2 & water:

    H2CO3 --> H2O  & CO2

    so because there is so little H2CO3 actually dissolved, we say one of two things:

    1)very  minimal solublity in water

    or  2) decomposes  ( into  H2O & CO2)
