Iron has a density of 7.87 g/cm cubed. If 52.4 g of iron is added to 75.0 mL of water in a graduated cylinder, to what volume reading will the water level in the cylinder read? Thank you!!!

  1. 1 ml = 1cm cube

    vol of iron

    = 52.4/7.87

    = 6.658

    Vol reading = 6.58 + 75.0

    =81.7 mL
