  1. The balanced reaction is

    Na + LiBr ---------> NaBr + Li

    Molar mass(mass of 1 mol) of Na = 23 g

    Number of moles of Na metal that reacted with excess LiBr = 30.5g/23g = 1.326 mol Na

    According to the balanced chemical equation, 1 mol of Na metal produces 1 mol Li metal.

    So 1.326 mol Na produces 1.326 mol Li.

    Molar mass of Li = 6.941 g

    So mass of 1.326 mol Li = 9.20 g Li metal are produced
