Chemistry: Use of the density equation? Area?

A 5.79 mg piece of gold is hammered into gold leaf of uniform thickness with an area of 44.6 cm^2. What is the thickness of the gold leaf? I dont know where to even begin on this one because i dont know what equation of volume or area i should be using to get to answer. Please direct me.

    d = m/ V

    if you know the density of gold you can calculate the volume (cm^3) of your 5.79mg (5.79 x 10^-3 g) piece of gold

    V = m/d

    For the gold leaf the volume will be

    V = A.h   (A = area; h = thickness)

    you have calculated V, so the thickness in cm

    h = V/A
