    Moles O = 17.37 g / 15.9994 g/mol = 1.085

    the ratio is 1 : 1 and the compound is NO

    Moles N = 1.085

    Moles O = 34.74 g / 15.9994 g/mol = 2.171

    1.085 / 1.085 = 1 => N

    2.171 / 1.085 = 2 => O

    Moles N = 1.085

    moles O = 43.43 g / 15.9994 g/mol =  2.714

    1.085 / 1.085 = 1 => N

    2.714 / 1.085 = 1.5 => O

    to get whole numbers we multiply by 2
