Hydrogen fluoride and neon gas container

consider 2 rigid gas containers,A and B of volume 5.0 L and 10.0L respectivley.container A holds 4.0g neon gas and container B holds 4.0g of hyrogen flouride gas both contains..50 degrees celcium

1?what is the ratio n(Ne)in A/n(HF)in B

2)vaule ratio p(Ne)in A/q(HF) in B

3?if all hyrdogen fluoride was transfered into A whitought change in temp by what factor would pressure in A increase?

4)witch container A holding 4.0g of neon and 4.0 g hydrogen fluoride how much must the temp be increased so that the pressure becomes 7.4;10^2 Kpa

  1. 1) Ne and HF have both molar mass 20. So as the mass in grams of the two gases are 4g in A and B the number of moles of gases is equal  4/20=1/5=0.2mole

    2) number of moles the same (I do not undestand well,)

    3) The number of mples would double, so the pressure would double

    4) pV=nRT   for A V= 0.005m^3 n=0.2 R=8.314

    so T=pV/nR= 0.005*740*10^3/0.2*8.314=2044K so 2044-323=1721C

for B absolute temperature would be double as V is double so 4088K

    4088-323=4065° increase

I am sure of questions 1 and 3, for 2 and 4 difficulties to understand your questions
