Chemistry help! how do i graph this??

Ok im supost to graph this thing for example

the data is taken while cooking an egg

so when i graph what should go on the x axis and the y axis ?

should the time or temperature ?

so would time be on the xaxis or the y?

i dont freekin get it

put the independent variable on the bottom. since the time it takes to boil an egg or whatever depends on the temperature, temperature goes on the bottom.
