if clean iron nails are placed in copper(II) sulfate solution. copper metal is deposited on the iron and a solution of iron (11) sulfate forms.

how do i write this in a balanced equation?

Reaction of copper deposition:

Fe + Cu++ -> Fe++  + Cu

If you have used CuSO4 in solution then the iron ions formiron sulphatee:

Fe++ + So4-- -> FeSO4
