Chemistry help - urgent?

Hey. I really need some help with my chemistry homework. I have done the question but I would really appreciate it if someone was able to check it for me.

Write the balanced equation for the reactions :

a) lead (II) carbonate was added to nitric acid

MY ANSWER : Pb2CO3+HNO3 = PbNo3 + H2O + H2

b) Aluminium was added to Hydrochloric acid

MY ANSWER : Al2 + HCl = AlCl2 + H2O + H2

I'm really not very good at chemsitry but I tryed my best . THank you for any help . x

  1. I am not sure but I think you got them right.  To be absolutely sure take a look at a periodic table.  there are some website that you go to through google that will help you put the information together.

    PbCO3 + 2HNO3 ---> Pb(NO3)2 + H2O + CO2

    Aluminium was added to Hydrochloric acid

    2Al + 6HCl ---> 2AlCl3 + 3H2
