  1. d= wt/vol

    d = 25*454/(15*12*5*2.54^3) = 0.77 to 2 significant digits

  2. volume of the box  = l*w*h = 900 in^3

    (900 in^3)(2.54 cm/ 1 in)^3 = 14748.3576 cm^3

    (25 lb)(453.59 g/ 1 lb) = 11339.75 g

    density = mass / volume = 11339.75 g/ 14748.3576 cm^3 = 0.768 g/ cm^3

    Yes, you are correct.
