Chemistry set?

Hi,

just wondering if it's still possible to get a chemistry set with the little burner, in Australia. If so where???

I live in the US, but probably people have about the same crazy ideas everywhere. They probably still make them, but they are not a very popular gift any more due to general paranoia about liability for injuries and what to do with the chemical waste. Also, since the word "chemical" is usually found next to words like waste, spill, toxic, etc, and because,  nowadays, anything made by man is automatically deemed to be bad; that makes chemicals "bad". (A company in our town recently changed it's name, just because it had the word "chemicals" in it's old name). So, currently chemisty sets are very "politically incorrect". Maybe you could buy you kid a gun instead?

In Germany chemistry sets are easily sold. I've found a english shop:
