China’s in-form player Chen Jin proved his worth as he bagged Men’s Singles title after toppling Vietnam’s Nguyen Tien Minh in the final showdown of 2012 Australian Open GP Gold at Sydney, Australia, on Sunday, April 8.

The Chinese got advantage in the title match by winning the opening game with an impressive 21-11 margin on the score board.
In the second set, Tien Minh showed his brilliance in opening rallies as he played aggressive game this time and remained equal on the board by until 7-7.
At this stage, Jin changed his strategy and played flat strokes to push his rival on the back foot. He built a reasonable gap until the interval by reaching at 11-7.
