Chennai airport is unsafe place??

Question

I'll go to Agra,Mumbai via Chennai next week,and I've to waiting for my next flight in Chennai for 3 hours.I heard from my friends who ever been there that Chennai airport is an unsafe place,the immigration and the police is so unfriendly specially for the tourist.Is it true??How to be safe when we go there??because I'll go alone to spend my holiday there...

As long as you dont violate any regulations there is no

reason for you to worry. It is as safe as the major cities in

the world.

Please tour south india when you get the chance.  A totally different experience awaits you. Kerala,TamilNadu, Karnataka and Andhrapradesh the four states of south India have history dating back 2000 years with their temples, architectures,historical forts, resorts, traditional folk arts, dances and festivals and last but not least the cuisine.

India is more than just Taj Mahal only.

It is unfortunate that one should be worried spending three hours of transit journey in the airport. Why should you be having any interaction with the police man or any body else, if you are scared of them. It is a normal place.

And you are there for just 3 hours.. the time will go in a flash.. do not worry so much!
