We all know about the cool incident at Chernobyl but what about the spicies that lived around it? Well I found out they survived and are doing well they just have radiation comming out of all ends. Heres where my question is formed. Can anyone give me a list of orginisms affected by Chernobyl? (Humans don't count) The questions I nee to answer are; What happened, how did it change the enviroment, What organisms where affected, and how are they affected, what can or has been done to protect the species. Thanks for the information. Also the most important thing is NO INFORMATION FROM WIKIPEDIA. My teacher hates Wikipedia or somthing. Link from Wikipedia are great.

  1. History Chanel did a story recently about life without humans where they used Chernobyl and the environment. It is the red dear that is most effected. Then everything that eats it. You may need to do some work but this should get you started.

  2. research!

  3. I'm certain many animals suffered, and died.  But, the overall ecology is surprisingly good.

There's a lot of picture sites that show Prypiat -- and they include pictures of ferrell cats  -- which imply ferrell mice, and ferrell birds, etc...

Those cats, mice, birds etc... might have shorter lifespans, but on the species level, they survive.  And, they evolve... into radiation tolerant species.  I suggest felinus-prypiatus.

    I coined it first.
