I need statistics and graphs on the immediate, 1 month, 6, months, 1 year, 5 years, and 10 years effects of the Chernobyl disaster. What amount of radiation was left at those times? Or any other stats you can find. Thanks!

  1. --- Along with what is in the Wikipedia these sources and links should give you some of what you are looking for.

--- I listed some information sites in the source box and one is called [a] The Chernobyl Disaster / Don't Forget. On the top right of the page at this site is the following list of links :

    [a]

    1)  The 1986 Accident

    2)  The Imediate After Effects

    3)  Chernobyl Since Then

    4)  The health Effects

    5)  The Human Consequences

    6)  The Economic Effects

    7)  The Enviromental Effects  [a]

--- Each of those links will bring you to a section about that topic. I found it very informative.

--- Also is [b] the World Nuclear Energy Agency report on :

Chernobyl: Radiological and Health Impacts [b]. This site has a lot of tecnological data on the radiological effects etc.

--- [c] is a site called Chernobyl a Nuclear Disaster which has several listing such as "local effects, world effects, Chernobyl Today" and others. It has a good list of sources and endnotes.

--- [f] Chernobyl 10 years after has a good deal of basic  information that might be interesting. And the site

"Chernobyl Event " [g] has a large source link set that has statistics listed such as   [g](1) Site and Accident Sequence, (2) Release, dispersion and deposition of radionuclides, (3) Reactions of national authorities, (4) Dose estimates, (5) Health impacts, (6) Agricultural and environmental impacts, (7) Potential residual risks, (8) Shutdown of the Chernobyl plant, and (9) Lessons Learned.  [g]
