Cherokee Indians get paid?

Question

hey i am 1/16 cherokee and from what i understand if i can prove it then i get like a $100 check every year am i right? if so where can i go to get the check or sign up or do whatevery must be done.

I am a member and you get two checks per year for like 3000-5000 dollars depending on the casinos income that term! You have to be on the "baker roll" and be enrolled in the tribe by a family member that lives on the reservation in NC
