White moves the King's Bishop's Pawn forward one or two spaces (doesnt matter).  Black moves the Kings Pawn forward one or two spaces.  White Moves the King's Knight's Pawn forward 2 spaces.  Black moves the queen to the right (left if looking at it from blacks view) of White's King's Knight's Pawn.  mate

  6. for black

    1) p-f4 p-e6

    2)p-g4 q-h4! +checkmate

for white (2 and a half moves)

    1) p-e4 p-f6

2)p-d4 (or whatever pawn you want to move) p-g6

    3) q-h5! +(checkmate)

  7. Okay, since you want to know short mates, I will show you short mates. There is this mate that can be done in two moves, and it's called the Fool's Mate.

    Moves

There it is plain and simple. If white wins here, then it would be 3 moves, say:

    Moves

    -----

    1. e4 f6
