Checkers is simple. Take pieces, the more you take the better. This is how some believe they should go through life. They want a flashy car, a big house,  etc. A high social status

Chess is all about strategy. In chess you may have twice as many pieces gone compared to the other guy, but that doesn't mean you're losing. Your opponent might not be watching the Rook to the right of the Knight, with the King somewhere behind the Knight right where you want him. It's all about who takes the King, who get's the final and last laugh.

It's quality, not quantity. Spades not Speed. Just because others your age apear to be ahead of you now at 22 doesn't mean it will be the same at 32. They may have a flashy car and a huge house, but soon they might have a mound of debt. You may have a small simple house or rent a duplex, but atleast you're not stressing over living up to others standards and paying massive bills, you are much happier.

The Game is Chess, Not Checkers

I'm going to dig real deep on this one, For sake of knowledge not pleasure. Allow me to elaborate when I say the game is chess and not checkers...

The object of checkers is simple, safely move your pieces to the other side. But chess is more sophisticated you must have a plan and strategize. Strategize comes from the word strategy. Just in case you didn't no. Its imperative that you listen closely so you don't get lost within my flow...

I normally don't do this, my thoughts are held sacred but in you i will invest. I hope you have figured out that this poem has little to do with chess. Its all about life and the things you choose either to do, or not to do. You may manipulate the whole world, but to self you must remain true. You can fool me, you can fool them, s**t some of us could even fool ourselves. This piece might help you get you mind right. I would suggest you tuck it under your belt...

Many years of wisdom has elevated me to a higher plane. I'm just sorry it took me incarceration for me to reach the pentacle when it comes to my game. But, I'm here, I've survived and I'm here to pass it on to you. And just maybe... if you listen now, you wont have to go through what I've gone through. Yeah! s**t is real, It's serious and there's really no time to chill. The sooner you get your mind right, the sooner you could execute and dominate in your field. Always remember in order to grow and develop one must strive to maintain ones self, which doesn't mean if you fall short to be afraid to ask for assistance or help. I'm going to leave you with these words of wisdom, at least that's what a wise man once said. If you don't speak up, then no one knows, closed mouths don't get fed... Patience is a virtue and perseverance is a definite must, never put your faith in man for only God deserves our trust. Always live for the future and whatever you do try not to borrow, because the toes you step on today may be attached to the a*s you have to kiss tomorrow...What goes around, comes around I believe this to be true, and I feel you should only do unto others as you would have others do unto you...
