I think chess is more fun. Plus it's a more spirited game and also it takes longer. Checkers is like a 5 min. game. Ches is like a 10-15 min game.

Chess to me is a fun game. I played it last year and i'm pretty good at it. Anyone wanna challenge me???

I would play chess if I want something intresting to do when the person I am with is boring, but if I want to play a game and hold a conversation at the same time, then I would play checkers.

chess is the more demanding game because of all of the variations to it.

Computers have solved Checkers so it is not as difficult.  Both are good games to teach kids though.

I have to say chess.  It makes you think and strategize more than checkers, and the pieces move differently.  In checkers, all the pieces move the same unless you get a king.
