Chess problem?

There are 4 knights on a 3x3 board on every edge ( 2 white on top, 2 black on bottom. They decided to switch places, so that the white knight would end up where black knights started out and vice versa. Unfortunately they could move only one at a time and following the rules.

What are the steps?

    1. First white moves one space to the right.

    2. First black moves down 2 spaces (to where first white started)

    3. First white moves up 2 spaces

    4. Second white moves 1 space to the left

    5. Second black moves down 2 spaces (to where the second white started)

    6. First white moves one space to the left (to where the first black started)

    7. Second white moves up 2 spaces

    8. Second white moves one space to the right (to where the second black started)

    Done!

  5. Each knight would make 1 move, and then starting with the same knight each knight makes another move and they are all in another corner.
