It started last Saturday. I had trouble drinking cold liquids that day. It's a sharp but quick pain in my left chest. Sunday, when I would consume food it would feel like it was getting stuck right before it made it into my stomach. Also experiencing heartburn when the food gets trapped like that. Any ideas? I haven't been to the doctor yet, kinda hoping it will just go away. Could I have of pulled a muscle in my chest?

  1. Yep it is probably inflamation from heartburn. I had a complete blockage of my esphogus almost a year ago and had to go to the ER because I anything I swallowed came right back up. It dislogded when they put a scope down my throat, but it was very scary. I later had to go to a GI dr and have it scoped and stretched out to check for pre-cancerous cells. I don't have the cancer cells but am on prescription heartburn medication to keep it under control. I had dealt with heartburn for years without treatment and regret not talking to a dr sooner. You might want to get it checked.

  2. Reflux. I have it too, sucks. Go to a Gastro Doctor and get checked out.

    Good Luck
