Chest pains?What is going on?

I have been having chest pains on the left side of my chest at night only from time to time,but it has never affected my arm.I only get chest pains my arm never goes numb or anything.I don`t know much about acid reflux but I heard it may cause chest pains,I may be wrong but my mother has it so I don`t know if that will help you figure out my problem or not but please help.

  1. Chest pains always warrant a visit to the doctor!

    I was having random chest pains at age 28.  They quickly ruled out heart conditions and acid reflux.  I have esphageal spasms, likely caused from stress.  Acid reflux and esphageal spasms are the main two non-cardiac conditions that cause chest pain.

    Go to the doctor, you never know.


  2. What is your age. Are you diabetic, hypertensive. You should visit your doctor and do a complete evaluation like ecg, echo,
