Chevy C1500 A/C turns on but will not fully cool.

Question

I just replaced the A/C compressor on my truck and pulled a vacuum on the system. After one can the system is way over pressure and will not cool. After driving about 15 minutes it cooled, but not much. Where do I go now?

my answer is try to check it out first on auto repair shop..,

pump the system back down, remove the low side line and accumulator... remove the orfice tube screen, it's probally plugged, and replce it. if that doesn't help... there is a restriction in the system somewhere and you will have to find and clear it.
