Question:

Chevy Camaro turbo?'

My friend wants a Camaro as a Project car. He wants to turbo a V6 Camaro, but I insisted he get a V8 (Z28) and then turbo it. I think he'll get much better results in terms of performance. What do you think is better? And money is not an issue.

  1. He'd be much better off swapping the buick turbo V6 into the camaro. Its been done on the 80s Camaro and 90s F-body too.

Nothing beats the GN powerplant. leave all those V8 turbos behind

  2. if he is building a305/ 350, then you go with a super charger (in my experience they last longer than turbos) , turbos are for rice burners that rev up to really high rpm's if he wants a nicely built v6, then go looking for a supercharged v6/v8 90's ford Thunderbird, those suckers move pretty well, and the v6 is rated at like 240 hp (i don't know the exact numbers) and you can beat the living c**p out of them, i used to have a 90 supercharged v6 one, and it blew up like 2 years ago, and had 206,000 i had it for like 5 years and beat the c**p out of it

actually gm did make a turbo v6 fire bird if i remember correctly, so he could use that

  3. He can check out Squire turbo Systems or {STS}  and get the subterranean turbo for that car. They make a turbo for ANY CAR! Their turbos mount far down the exhaust for easy installation.

  4. I wanna 09 Chevy Corvette ZR1. sick car lol <3

  5. ever hear of the Buick GN?

put a turbo on the six and you can go out and eat some v8s

  6. he should get the v8 with turbo and if he want fast accelaration he would need a intercooler to fit the car if he wants more top speed he'll need a better intake good luck email me if u got more question
