The way the seat is built prevents all the seat covers at Kragen auto parts from fitting around the seat, due to the seat belt structure etc...

It is a Chevy Cavalier, Z24 2001

  1. I had this same problem a few years ago with another car I had. I actually found that for just a few bucks more, you can have the entire seat re-upholstered with new fabric and padding. Most re-upholstery shops can do it so check into it. I think the total cost was $50 more than the horrible seat covers.

  2. had the same problem with my cavalier the only thing to do is cut the seat covers where the seat belt thing is sry

  3. Take the seat belt holder off the top of the seat, it should just be two phillips screws, after the seat cover is back on punch holes in the cover and put your screws back in so the upper seatbelt holder is on top of the cover.  As far as the bottom part of the seatbelt the seat cover should just fit around the seat, as tucked behind the seatbelt as you can get it, but don't expect perfection.  You may have to locate seatcovers made especially for that car if you still don't like the fit.

The only Universal thing about Universal Auto Parts, is that they don't fit anything well.
