What are the disadvantages of having a chevy silverado truck for an in town driving in a population of 70,000 people?

  1. If you are thinking of buying it to just drive around town, I would consider a Colorado first. The Silverado is a big truck. Even the regular cab/shortbeds. The Colorado is smaller and more manuverable and can still carry a good size load if you need to. Other than that, it doesn't matter what kind of truck you are considering buying, they are all very high quality products. Personally, I think the GMC trucks are better looking than the Chevy trucks. The grille of the GMC has looked better since the '88 model year.
