  1. $24000-4000 approximately will get it done.

You will need a front axle, I'm guessing from a Jeep would be about the right width. You will also need a transfer case (this would be a whole lot easier if you already had a 4wd truck), so steal the t-case from a 4wd Colorado (don't forget the output shaft of the 4wd tranny). Or you could run a divorced t-case, but since your truck is so short I wouldn't recommend it. Make sure your axle and t-case drop on the same side (driver's side or passenger's side so that the drive shaft lines up).

You will need to get a drive shaft made.

I just checked the ORU website for a SAS kit for your truck; NOPE. So your gonna have to fab the brackets to mount/locate the front axle.

You gonna have to lift the rear end, so factor in the cost of a lift for the rear axle as well.

It is gonna be a lot of work. Even more because it isn't a common swap to do on your type of truck. But I must tell you good luck.

  2. Am I right in assuming you want to keep it 2WD? Then I'd try MAS racing products. They have a tube axle with parallel leaf springs. You can select from a few different spindles and I believe they have disc brake kits for them, too.

  3. i gave the first guy a thumbs up. it might even cost more then that to do it right, i fabbed up all the brackets for my 93 s10, had the axle, rims tires, transfercase, driveshafts and a few other things laying around and ended up costing me like $1100 and like 3 months just to hack it all together. so for a nice truck.... yeah expect a ton of work, painting, prepping, parts chasing. but it will be worth it when its done
