okay im helping my friend make a costume for our starwars play i made my costume already but shes chewbacca and i have nooooooo where to start the costumes are due on monday but we'd like to have it done but saturday so are there any websites that show how to

OK - a chewbacca costume is probably the most time consuming costume to make because of the shaggy fur and mask.

Because you are short on time I would recommend making a humourous costume rather than a more accurate one.

Go to a few thrift stores and find as many brown items of clothing as possible, the more shades of brown the better, including a couple of yops with long sleeves.

Now use the layers of clothes to make a few layers of shagginess.

Take the tightest items of clothing as a brown base and use spray paint or sharpies to highlight them with black and brown streaks.

Then cut the remaining clothes into tassles as thinly as possible while still being able to wear the garments without them falling off. Do this with as many layers as you are comfortable wearing to build up the shaggy fur effect.

I don't know how old you are, but if you or somebody else can use a sewing machine then attach some pieces of brown material to elastic so that they hang from above the knee and cover your feet.

For the mask I would find a wool hat and stretch it down over the face and attach as much brown material as possible to it following the contours of the face.  Use a table tennis ball cut in half and painted black for the nose.
