Chicago Blackhawks host Vancouver Canucks in game four (preview)

The fourth game of this quarterfinal tie will be hosted by the defending champions, Chicago Blackhawks, at the United Center, as they are up against the Vancouver Canucks on April 19, 2011.
The Canucks are well on course for taking revenge for the last two times they were knocked out by the Hawks. They have established a 3-0 lead in the series and a win in this game will put them in the semi-finals.
The Canucks won the first game with a 2-0 shutout performance but the Hawks came close in the last two games losing by a single goal in the end. In game three of the series, the Canucks got behind the Hawks for the first time in the series.
The Hawks will be taking tips from last year’s series between the Flyers and the Bruins that saw the Flyers winning the series after being down 3-0.
However, only three times in NHL history has a team won a playoff series after being 3 games down.
The Canucks have all the things going in their favour. They are certainly high on confidence and will be feeling very satisfied and at ease. They still haven’t been in the best of form so far in the series winning the last two games with a slender one goal
lead.
However, they have managed a win each time due to their backup plans for each game.
Daniel Sedin was quiet during game one but ever since that time, he has been superb, scoring three goals and bagging two important assists. The Canucks have seen their players get back into form as Henrik Sedin has scored four points after he struggled in
the first game.
"It's tough to put the 'A' game on for 60 minutes", Henrik Sedin said. "(Sunday) night I think was our worst game of the series, but we're a tough team to beat because we're never really out of the game. We stick in there and never give up. We were in a
great position (Sunday) night going into the third, tied on the road. We were happy with that".
The Hawks Captain, Jonathan Toews, said that his team is very competitive and certainly has what it takes to beat the Canucks.
However, they haven’t been able to perform to the best of the abilities so far that has resulted in them losing their last two games.
"We haven't been able to prove that we can be a better team than them on one single night", Toews said. "We've got one more chance to do that. This is our last string of life here".
The Hawks will be looking to Dave Bolland to help the Hawks in the offensive department as they look to win and stay in the playoffs, as a loss would make them the first team to be knocked out of the postseason.
