Chicago Bulls, OKC Thunder: Teams that can become NBA title favourites with Grant Hill (Part-3)
Chicago Bulls:
The Chicago Bulls surprised everybody when they achieved a very unique milestone in the last season. They won total 62 record numbers of games during the 2010-2011 regular season and lost only 20 games to head all the teams into
the playoffs. Their winning percentage was also impressive with 0.756.
The Bulls qualified for the playoffs as the top team from the Eastern Conference but could not go all the way for the National Basketball Association (NBA) finals due to Miami Heat.
However, they need to do some serious changes in their roster now for a better consistent performance. Their current roster is playing well but need some more experience for performing well at crucial stages. Keeping in view their
primary need, they need to inject some tough players into their very young side. Derrick Rose alone cannot make a big difference. He needs some more energy alongside with him. Grant Hill will be perfect choice for the Chicago Bulls. He has almost spent his
16 years in the league and knows the tough environment of the league.
Grant Hill also wanted to end his career at a high note. He wants his free agency to be used with best possible option. The Bulls are certainly a title contender team and Hill wanted to land in a team which would give hard time
to their every opponent in upcoming future.
Oklahoma City Thunder:
The Oklahoma City Thunder is one of the toughest teams in the NBA. Last season, their entire roster showed their true aggression when they ousted many top teams in the league. Not only they played well, but they never showed any
loop holes in their performance. They remained consistent and played their best game. Although, their entire team played wonderfully, but their two main players, Russell Westbrook, and Kevin Durant were virtually unstoppable and played brilliantly throughout
the season. From regular season to post season, they helped their team at every step forward. Both played exceptionally well down the stretch and proved vital for their team.
The team like Thunder, where every player gets his chance and also gets the time he needs to adjust; it is a very right opportunity for veteran Grant Hill to make a move forward and join the Thunder in this offseason. The only
thing barring him from making a move forward is the lockout in NBA. The league has barred every team and player to not to involve in any kind of trade during the lockout.
Meanwhile, the Thunder management also keeping a close look at the Hill’s free agency. The Thunder management is also petty inclined with Grant Hill’s lifelong commitment with his professional basketball career. They would love
to take advantage from this situation where Hill’s current contract has almost finished with the Phoenix Suns and he wanted to move ahead for a title contender team in future.
If Hill and Thunder come to a mutual understanding and formulate a decent deal, the future of Thunder would be much brighter.
