Chicago Bulls: NBA teams depleted by injuries - Part 1
The 2012-2013 has been memorable so far with some veterans defying the laws of getting old and performing at the next level and a few rookies putting on big numbers and making strong impressions right at the start of their professional
careers.
But this year a lot of superstars who are the back bone of their respective teams have missed the action so far, Dirk Nowitzki and Derrick Rose to name a few. Celebrated guard Steve Nash has also not been to play any part in the
Los Angeles Lakers campaign so far.
A lot of teams have faced a lot of difficulty moving forward or more importantly develop a winning combination with key players out with injury for long. We will talk about the teams that have been hit the most and have unexpected
starts to the season, some of them have better starts than they were expecting but still they will have to face the task of adjusting the players in the rotation when their players recover.
Chicago Bulls
When people talk about the Bulls they will talk of Derrick Rose only. Yes he has been missing the action since the start of the season and with no chances of coming back soon. But this is not all, they have been missing the services
of Richard Hamilton has a torn plantar fascia in his left foot. He and Rose make up a formidable backcourt, and with both of them out the Bulls’ campaign has been adversely affected.
Kirk Hinrich also keeps getting injured, he is out with a sore knee and this is his 5th injury of the season. With their top players missing, the Bulls had a sluggish start to the season, but slowly have been coming
to terms and are now 14-10. But Chicago is the two times Eastern Conference winning franchise, surely there fans won’t be impressed with the current state of affairs. And they will be hoping for Rose and Hamilton to come back as soon as possible and with both
of them returning and firing on all cylinders, the Bulls chances will vastly improve later in the season.
