Ten National Basketball Association (NBA) franchises went head-to-head on Saturday, 2nd April, 2011. The Chicago Bulls, Memphis Grizzlies, Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clipper came out on top in their matches.

Chicago Bulls 113 – Toronto Raptors 106
Guard Derrick Rose scored a game-high 36 points and grabbed 10 assists as the Chicago Bulls eased past the Toronto Raptors 113-106 at United Centre on Saturday night. The result marked the Bulls third consecutive victory.
Toronto guard Jerryd Bayless had been asked to guard Rose but he could not stop him from scoring. Bayless praised Rose after the game. He said, “That is what an MVP is I guess. I think he should be it. I can't speak highly enough about him."
Carlos Boozer had 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Luol Deng added 17 points for Chicago, who are leading the Eastern Conference with 56 victories in the 2010-11 season. Taj Gibson came off the bench with 15 points and nine rebounds, while guard-forward

Guards DeMar DeRozan and Bayless chipped in with 26 points each in the losing effort. Leandro Barbosa posted 18 points, while Ed Davis contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Raptors, who lost their sixth consecutive game.
Rose scored eight of his 36 points in the opening quarter as the Bulls took a 25-19 lead into the second. Chicago got it going offensively in the second quarter and extended their lead to 53-43 at half time.
Toronto tried to make a comeback in the third quarter but the Bulls managed to carry an 83-75 advantage into the final stanza. Trailing by eight points after three quarters, the Raptors cut the deficit to 109-104 with 20 seconds remaining in the game. However,
the Bulls went on a 4-2 run in the closing seconds to seal the victory.
Memphis Grizzlies 106- Minnesota Timberwolves 89
Zach Randolph scored 22 points as the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the woeful Minnesota Timberwolves 106-89 at FedExForum on Saturday night for their fourth straight victory.
O.J. Mayo came off the bench to score 20 points for Memphis, who are now in seventh position in the Western Conference standings. Tony Allen tallied 12 points while forward Leon Powe ended with 11 points in the victory.
Michael Beasley added 20 points and Luke Ridnour racked up 17 points for the Timberwolves, who have lost 10 consecutive games. Centre Nikola Pekovic registered 14 points while Anthony Tolliver had 12 points in the defeat.
The Grizzlies controlled the game from the beginning, leading 29-20 after one quarter and 56-44 at half time.
Memphis continued to play offensively in the third quarter and pulled away 73-64 heading into the fourth on a flurry of fast-break points. The Grizzlies outplayed the Wolves 33-25 in the fourth quarter to seal their 28th home victory of the season.
