Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat win: NBA Sunday Round-up (Part 1)
Twenty National Basketball Association (NBA) teams went head-to-head on Sunday, 10th April, 2011.
The Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons, Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies, New York Knicks, Sacramento Kings and Oklahoma City Thunder came out on top in their matches.

Chicago Bulls 102 – Orlando Magic 99
Derrick Rose played one of his best games of the season, as he scored a game-high 39 points in the Chicago Bulls’ 102-99 win over the Orlando Magic, at Amway Centre on Sunday night. It was also the Bulls 60th victory of the season.
Forward Luol Deng contributed 15 points, five assists and five rebounds while Carlos Boozer had 12 points, six assists and six rebounds in the victory. Taj Gibson came off the bench with 11 rebounds for the Bulls, who have won their seventh straight game.
Ryan Anderson added a team-high 28 points and 10 rebounds while guard Jason Richardson had 24 points in the defeat. Jameer Nelson chipped in with 17 points and 11 assists for the Magic, who lost their second consecutive game.
Rose scored 15 of his points in the opening quarter as the Bulls carried a 32-24 lead into the second. Orlando came out strongly in the third quarter, cutting their eight-point first quarter deficit to 50-49 at half time.
The Magic played well in the third quarter and managed to make it a three-point game at 75-72 with one and a half minutes to go in the quarter. However, Chicago scored five unanswered points in the last minute of the third to take an 80-77 edge into the
final stanza.
The scores were tied five times in the opening 10 minutes of the fourth quarter. However, the Bulls went on a 6-3 run in the closing minute of the quarter to seal their 60th victory of the season.
Miami Heat 100 – Boston Celtics 77
The Miami Heat thrashed the Boston Celtics 100-77 at AmericanAirlines Arena on Sunday night. Miami are now one game ahead of Boston in the Eastern Conference.
Forward LeBron James added a game-high 27 points, grabbed seven assists and five rebounds in the victory. Guard Dwyane Wade posted 14 points and eight assists, while Chris Bosh ended with 13 points and eight rebounds in Miami's second consecutive victory.
Paul Pierce had 24 points and seven rebounds, while Kevin Garnett registered 21 points and four rebounds for the Celtics, who have lost five of their last 10 games. The Celtics led 11-2 on the way to a 22-21 advantage after one quarter. The Heat turned it
on in the second quarter and outscored Boston 28-18, taking a 47-40 lead into the locker room.
Miami extended their offensive play to the third quarter and managed to extend their lead to 74-59 after three quarters. The Heat maintained their double-digits lead throughout the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
