Chicago - Californa Time?

Ok so I have a deadline (2 pm in California) to meet but I live in Chicago!!!! Please help me

Chicago time would be central 4pm, I think this is right. I travel so much I get mixed up sometimes.

The sun rises in  the East. Chicago is east of California, so it will be earlier in CA.
