Chicago Cubs fans most obnoxious in baseball?

Really can't say if they have the most obnoxious fans but I wouldn't be so obnoxious if my team hasn't won a World Series since 1908.  Yankees & Red Sox have those types of fans as other teams do to but to say what team has the most obnoxiuos fans, I really can't say since it's just an opinion question & nobody really knows the answer to that

I disagree. Red Sox fans are a billion times worse than Cubs fans.

Many of my friends seem to think so but I can't honestly say that the Cubs have more obnoxious fans than say the Yankees or Red Sox or Phillies, etc. You'd be obnoxious too if your team hasn't won a WOrld Series since Moby d**k was a minnow!

No way, we're the most loyal in baseball.  White Sox fans are the most obnoxious by far.  There is an extra edge of hostility and machismo that Sox fans have that was there even before the World Series in 2005.    It's like a strange inferiority complex they have.  I can't blame 'em since they've seen the post season fewer times than the Cubs have in the last 3 decades.  And nothing says dumb luck like following up a World Series victory with a last place finish the following season...with the same team.

I Don't like the Cubs but, I applaud their fans for sticking with them for 100 years of losing their just wishful dreamers. Personally I can't stand MOST yankee fans for constantly waving the yanks 26 world series titles in everyone faces well I say who cares they haven't won in 8 years and the curse of ol' yankee stadium will haunt them for the next 92 years so strictly speaking everyone on here now will be dead I mean I'm only 16 but, I'd be 118 I'll taking the ol' dirt nap by then

Probably not.

It's typical, we live in an age where only poor behaviour gets press and that's the behaviour that stands out.

So, you may see a number of obnoxious fans for the team you support nd the team that is a rival and really, you will only look at the rival's fans with disdain because you can explain away the people that like the same team as you.

It's like the concept that no one ever thinks they are evil or bad.  People are in life (as seen from outside sources), but they justify it.

I'm sure Rocco thinks it's his right to make fun of Ron Santo and he could maybe even give some lame excuse as to why he constantly insults a former ball player, but to the outsider, it's sad and well, pathetic.

I'm lucky enough to accumulate some Y/A friends, some who like the Sox, some who like the Yankees, some who like the Blue Jays, Tigers, Cubs, White Sox, any team really.

If you only look at the squeaky wheel, every team's fans are obnoxious, but in reality, people are people and they control how most others perceive them.

We are the most loyal fans.  Where else would you sell-out games for years, even when your team is bad?  If they win the World Series, you will see more grown men cry for joy than you've even seen before.

Not yet.  Its still the Red Sox and Yankees who think the world revolves around them.  If the Cubs pull off the miracle of winning a world series.  Theior bandwagon fans will be very obnoxious.  The real Cubs fans will make some noise but won't be that bad.  I am a Cardinals fan and have alot of friends who are Cubs fans.

They do get a little obnoxious. None of them ever played baseball and are mostly all from far suburbs like Naperville and had their parents pay their rent in Wrigleyville. They dont know anything of the game. They all live a few blocks away from the field and thats why they go. They go crazy b/c they cant handle their alcohol and after 3 beers, they're blacked out and stupid.

Alot of them are bandwaggoners. It's now trendy to say you're a Cub fan. When they start losing they will disappear. Just like all the drunk preppies in the bleachers.
