Chicago Cubs uniform? Cub fans please answer!!?

I have come to notice that the Cubs tend to wear their Blue Jersey at the most random times throughout the season. They wear them both at home and on the road, but I do not see any distinct pattern.

I know other teams who wear their alternate jerseys wear them on specific days / use them in patterns. For example, I am a Pirates fan and the Bucs always wear the pinstripes on Sundays and their alternate red jersey for Friday night home games.

So for you Cubs fans, do you know of any correlation or when your team breaks out the alternate blue for specific games?

The starting pitcher gets to choose the jersey. Zambrano loves the solid blue.

The pitcher selects what jersey they wear. Zambrano always uses it & I've noticed after his last couple of starts that Marquis is starting to use it as well
