Chicago Fire hosted DC United at Toyota Park in a Major League Soccer fixture on Thursday, August 19. After 90 minutes of enthralling action, the game failed to produce a winner, finishing all square at 1-1.
The match started without much noteworthy action in the opening minutes. The Fire took advantage of the home pitch and enjoyed lion’s share of the possession in the early goings.
