What are the rules for stuff you take on the plane for example what do i do if i need to take water on the plane to feed my 2 month old? Or if I can take a sealed pack of cookies for my 5 year old. If you dont have straight answers but have a website that i can see please post it. Thank you

  1. Water is available for sale once past security.  Most airlines don't charge for water on board...yet.  The cookies are fine to take through security for your 5 year old.  The airport in Chicago is O'Hare, not O'Hara, and the airport itself does not dictate what luggage you can bring aboard...it's the individual airlines...what you're allowed to bring INSIDE that luggage the airline lets you bring aboard, is entirely up to the TSA (Transportation Safety Administration).  Go to www.TSA.gov to find what is allowed and what is forbidden.

  2. Buy all of your drinks after you get through security since there is a restriction on liquids in carry on bags: http://www.tsa.gov/311/index.shtm

    The cookies should be fine.

    Have a great trip!

  3. Snacks are ok water to be purchased after security......

  4. You will have to buy water once on the other side of security.  Cookies are fine.
