Chicago Prince hot favourite for Stadium Bookmakers 480m Trophy
Chicago Prince is expected to dominate proceedings in the Stadium Bookmakers 480m Trophy at Nottingham in England on Monday, June 4, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will be awarded a cash prize of £200.
The 480 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 20:19 GMT and following runners will be seen in action in it: Chicago Prince, Modern Man, Head Iton Eoin, Borna George, Extremely and Takemetherelater.
Looking at the performances and experience of Chicago Prince, it is pretty much evident that he has the best chances of victory. The bookies have shown full confidence in his abilities, thus the punters will also be looking forward to place a lot of bets
on him.
The David Pruhs’ trained hound has won four back to back races, which shows the kind of form he is carrying at the moment. Although most of these victories have come in Grade A1 events, the level of competition was quite high in them.
In his most recent, Chicago Prince walked away with a comfortable victory by more than one length. He was rated favourite for that event and did not disappoint his team and the bookmakers.
The black dog has got an extremely good stamina, which helps him challenge his opponents towards the end of every event. Although there are some good runners up against him in today’s race, he seems to be unstoppable right now.
The favourite hound is the son of Droopys Kewell out of Cooly Pantera and was born in August 2007.
On the other hand, Modern Man might also manage to make a solid impression in the race, as he is a decent performer. He has got good speed, but will need to have a better stamina in order to take the top spot at Nottingham.
The K. Allsop’s trainee finished third in his most recent run, which shows that he is carrying a decent momentum right now. However, it will be a difficult task for him to outperform his rivals in the race at Nottingham.
Modern Man is the son of Head Bound out of Annies Delight and was born in December 2008.
Other than the top two favourites, Head Iton Eoin might also attract a few bets in his favour today.
