Chicago Prince to continue good run in Alpha Feeds Standard Trophy Final at Nottingham
Chicago Prince is enjoying the best form of his career. After six successive wins, the black dog is full of confidence and holds the best chance of bagging the winning prize in the finale of Alpha Feeds Standard Trophy, taking
place at Nottingham on Monday, June 18th.
The 500 metres flat race is scheduled to begin at 21:22 (GMT). The Grade OR event has a cash prize worth £500, which will be given to the best performer. Chicago Prince is going to face some big giants such as, Ballymac Barn,
Oneco Talent, Lethal Roy, Romeo Causeway and Ambleside Al.
After clinching two consecutive A1 wins, Chicago Prince made his way back to the open races. David Pruhs’ trainee continued his good form and grabbed a convincing win in a 480 metres race.
In his last outing over 500 metres, Droopys Kewell’s son was mighty impressive. After establishing his dominance at the third bend, the dashing hound made no mistake and sealed the top rank by three lengths.
He is in terrific form and despite the fact that there are many powerful hounds in the line-up, Chicago Prince has an obvious chance of winning the race.
On the other hand, Ballymac Barn is carrying the highest starting price following a tremendous success here last week. The black dog is the fastest heat winner and will be hard to beat. But since victories are not coming to
his way regularly, he cannot be declared the safest option.
Ambleside Al looked good in his last outing, but a few others boast stronger profiles. So, he is unlikely to fancy some chances.
Oneco Talent could not get to grips with T2 in the heats. In the last round of the trophy, the black dog was defeated by Ballymac Barn.
Romeo Causeway tends to drift off very wide most occasions. He cannot afford to make mistakes tonight. Lethal Roy is coming from the lower grade and it is very tough task for him.
The stats suggest that it is going to be a close battle between Ballymac Barn and Chicago Prince. The latter gets our nod, since he is in great form these days. Good luck to all runners.
