Chicago White Sox Adam Dunn remembers his time with Washington Nationals – MLB News
The Chicago White Sox first baseman Adam Dunn is currently enjoying his mid-season-break and appearing on different television shows, giving interviews to different reporters and somewhat having fun in his off days.
Lately a report has published in a local newspaper regarding Dunn’s presence with the Washington Nationals some two years back.
Later some other media sources have also reported on Dunn’s extraordinary abilities which have always proved his game and brought him into the elite baseball players in the Major League.
During his time at the Nationals, Dunn did not play well and performed with average stats. However, his time in Washington certainly made him a tough player who can easily overcome any bad run.
Dunn, who played in the Nationals in 2009-10, later also told the media and explained to them about the real hardship of his career as to how he was able to achieve persistent consistency in his plays.
Adam said with confidence, “I really enjoyed my time there, I really enjoyed the people. There’s no hard feelings. Some of my good buddies still play on the team. I love Mike [Rizzo]. I love the Lerners. I wish them nothing but the best.”
Dunn added more details and told the media, “You can never tell, You don’t know that Bryce Harper is going to do what he’s doing. What shows how good a team they are is all the injuries they had. They’re still playing well. As long as you have that pitching...”
Adam, who now plays for the Chicago White Sox certainly is considered the back-bone of the franchise.
His performance which is quite consistent, always gave the White Sox enough confidence to play an offensive game.
During his first half of the season with the White Sox, he finished achieving a hitting average of .208 along with 25 homers, 61 RBIs and .357 OBP.
On the other hand, Dunn’s career stats are also consistent with .242 hitting, 390 home-runs, 983 RBIs and .373 OBP. It will be exciting to see what type of impact he makes for the White Sox during the second half of the regular season.
