Chicago White Sox Alejandro De Aza adequately filling the spot – MLB News
The Chicago White Sox centre-fielder Alejandro De Aza is feeling quite comfortable at the moment as he is currently playing well down in the order with 6-for-22 at an average of .273 hitting percentage along with five home runs in total five games.
“I’m fine with that," De Aza said. “If I can be aggressive, I will learn to read the pitchers more and get better jumps. You just have to don’t try to steal a base every time you get on, With experience, you learn a little bit every day."
A former Florida Marlins player, De Aza is certainly a good player and possesses four years of experience. His recent form in the ongoing Major League Baseball season is steady as he also knows how important this particular season is for the White Sox to play like champions.
In the meanwhile, the White Sox manager Robin Ventura also thinks that De Aza is currently playing well, but he just needs to stay focus on the defensive part he often plays in hurry.
Later, Ventura who is working hard to stay consistent with results, is also saying in the media that he certainly knows how to build this team and how to proceed further in the post season. His late comments in the media also suggests as he is looking optimistic regarding his team’s results.
Ventura said, “I like doing it when we first get to a city, I’ve always felt it was necessary. Outfielders throwing to bases, you can’t really do that in batting practice. You’re asking a guy to throw a ball to home plate; he hasn’t done it at that field.”
The White Sox currently sitting in a comfortable place with relatively good start at start of the season. Their chances are high to qualify into the post season, but to go further and for consistent power plays from their entire roster, the White Sox management should bring some changes in the current lineup as well as in starting rotation. These potential changes have also been discussed recently when Robin Ventura talked to GM Kenny Williams however, still those suggestions are pending in Williams’ office.
