Chicago White Sox Rick Hahn will interview for Los Angeles Angels’ GM position

According to a renowned sports journalist in United States of America, the Chicago White Sox current vice president and assistant general manager Rick Hahn will potentially interview for general manager (GM) position in the Los Angeles Angels’ franchise.
Along with Hahn, four other candidates, Kim Ng, Jerry DiPoto, Damon Oppenheimer and Billy Eppler are also to be interviewed over the next couple of days.
Hahn is a highly experienced and skilled executive in Major League Baseball (MLB) and has earned great acknowledgement from many baseball experts. He has been also persuaded by many MLB franchises in the past to join them but he refused to leave his current
job as vice president and assistant manager of Chicago White Sox.
In 2007, the St. Louis Cardinals interviewed Hahn for their vacant position of GM and later, the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates and Seattle Mariners also had a brief interview with him in 2010 but he remained in-charge of White Sox as assistant manager
and president.
Rick Hahn’s extraordinary managing skills earned him many awards so far but the biggest award for his managing skills was awarded to him in 2011 when he was ranked as the Number one manager of MLB by a renowned sports media group.
Hahn was also very pleased to hear his name as the Number one potential GM candidate in Major League Baseball and said, "[Being included] certainly is a compliment, and I do appreciate being included on these lists. But, frankly, it's not the same as the
organization being cited for having one of top on-field prospects."
It will be interesting to see what impact Rick Hahn’s interview can bring to the Los Angeles Angels franchise and whether or not he gets appointed as their GM. The Angels will be looking at his exceptional managerial skills to help guide the team to new
heights for the next regular season.
The slot for GM of the Los Angeles Angels is highly coveted in MLB as the team has a very talented and competitive roster.
