Chicago White Sox first baseman Adam Dunn likes teammate Kosuke Fukudome’s present – MLB News
The Chicago White Sox first baseman and outfielder Adam Dunn has lately expressed in the media about his teammate Kosuke Fukudome’s gift which he liked very much and appreciated his concern. Fukudome has given Dunn a belt which represents a somewhat Japanese heritage added with mixed in with different colours and material.
Dunn said in detail, "Japan belts are always way cooler than our belts, I saw he had one, and I was like, ‘Dude, that belt’s awesome. So he gave me one. I put it on, and I’m like, ‘This is not too awesome.’ But we’ll make it work. Fukudome asked me if I wanted him to get me another belt, I said, ‘Nope, this is going to be my belt all year long.’ It’s going to fit, even if I have to suck in on it."
On contrary to this type of gifts exchange among teammates, Dunn later also told the media about the way White Sox are going into the next Major League Baseball season.
Dunn said further, “No, I don’t think so, Believe it or not, though, this is exactly where I was last year.” This is also important to mention as the White Sox had a tremendous Spring Training in Arizona and now they have also concluded their exhibitions games while linking all these games to the level of preparations they possess at the moment is huge.
They looked sharp on the field on all Spring Training games and almost every player now in the White Sox franchise seems ready to outdo their opponents with full energy. The overall team is looking confidently and the coaches and managers are showing great confidence on their players.
White Sox general manager Kenny Williams and manager Robin Williams both seem quite sure as their franchise have a fair chance this time around. With every aspect of the team and with player power from batting line-up to starting rotation, everything is in fine shape at the moment for the White Sox. They just need to play as one unit and should try to play their natural game to attain good and consistent results.
