Chicago White Sox hitters getting better – MLB News
The Chicago White Sox performance so far in the ongoing 2012 Major League Baseball season is getting better with some late wins against the Cleveland Indians.
This is not that their pitchers are performing, but this is due to their hitters who are getting the right momentum and playing some aggressive game throughout the nine innings.
Lately some media personals have interviewed the White Sox sluggers and power hitters to ask them about the drastic change in their strategy. The White Sox is used to be the very defensive team. However, since the new manager Robin Ventura has joined the franchise, the sudden thrust of ‘getting the things done’ quickly has prevailed in the entire roster.
He has not only brought his past playing experience in the league, but he has also brought the very strategies which are aggressive and which play a huge part in any team’s uphill climb towards ultimate goal of an achieving the World Series title.
Now, since he has saw and noticed every player’s strengths and weaknesses, Ventura is using them properly at their respective positions.
While on the other hand, all the players are also responding to their manager’s call and performing with full flair.
Recently Adam Dunn said for this new change, "The big thing for us," "is we got to make another first impression with the new (staff). Obviously, everyone knew how bad a year we had last year. But this spring we got to make a brand new impression. It wasn't the same people who saw us last year, and we're not obviously the same guys that they saw last year. Thank God."
Later Alex Rios stated in the media with confidence explaining, "We have some veterans here that are big parts of this team and if we all have big seasons, we have a pretty good team, very good team, That could be the difference.”
On the other hand, this is a healthy sign for the White Sox as their premier hitters are getting in shape and speaking in public with enormous energy and self confidence to provide the team with best results.
