Chicago White Sox manager Robin Ventura still to make several decisions ahead of season starter
The Chicago White Sox manager Robin Ventura had a tremendous 2012 Major League Baseball Spring Training in Arizona’s Cactus League and now feeling extremely happy about for the start of the season.
Giving an all together new strategy to White Sox of offensive ball play, new manager Ventura also made difficult decisions this offseason which were highly appreciated by the top management.
However, with Ventura’s managerial intelligence, he has still many important decisions to implement in the coming season which will bring more consistency in the franchise. This was revealed by some inside team sources that the 2012 season will be full of surprises for many as well as for several White Sox players.
Even, when later Ventura stated in the media about his close decisions which will be coming out in the next season, experts extracted several things out if it and started speculating that new White Sox manager has some surprises to unveil in the coming big event of Major League.
Robin Ventura also related some important part of the job with Hector Santiago, whose game has reached another level where he is feeling quite comfortable this year. The White Sox’s manager also stated further in the media about Santiago’s pitching and his team’s preparations.
He said, “That’s going to be no matter if he pitches the ninth or the sixth, I want to see how they’re going to get out of it. Those are things you have to do. You’re going to come across good hitters and he’s going to have to battle and throw a lot of different things. You can’t just throw one pitch and be able to get out of it. For me, it’s good he has a lot of things he can throw and find a way out of it.”
This is a healthy sign for the White Sox who are coming with a new manager this season. In the presence of star pitcher Mark Buehrle, the White Sox were feeling down in the offseason, but as soon as Robin Ventura took over the job, the entire South Chicago baseball franchise started to regain their lost confidence.
