Chicago White Sox manager Robin Ventura thinks firm ahead next season – MLB News
The Chicago White Sox new manager Robin Ventura is feeling quite positive ahead of next Major League Baseball season as fully prepared. The recent Spring Training went well for the White Sox and now they are just waiting for the next season to start.
On Robin Ventura and his optimism ahead of next season along with the confidence he is showing on the roster, some experts have commented in the media regarding his self-assurance. A former San Diego Padres and Philadelphia Phillies manager Larry Bowa explained about Ventura and about his team’s preparations.
He said, “They’re in for a treat because, believe me, the game speeds up, If you haven’t had experience in the minor leagues, you’re going to find out during the course of the season that there will be trials and tribulations."
Later Ventura also said on the tough work they have been doing since the start of 2012 Spring Training. Ventura said Thursday, “You’re thinking ahead. It’s still harder in spring training to think that way because you’re making sure guys get in certain innings. Yeah, I know what he’s saying, but it is what it is, I’m not leaving. I’m staying here. I’m staying here.”
This Spring Training went quite well for the White Sox and now their manager Ventura along with general manager Williams is hoping a good next season. Recently, the South Chicago baseball franchise has introduced a new offensive strategy in the team which might determine good results in the coming season. Moreover, though the White Sox will face little difficulties implementing this altogether new strategy, but still they have plenty of good players to carry forward the new offence that possesses enormous amount of result capabilities in it.
Last season, the White Sox were in deep trouble when they tried to implement a new offensive game plan via Mark Buehrle, but Buehrle could not show any impressive play and ultimately started his old routine of defensive low arm throwing. His pitching record might have sustained on a consistent pace, but the change he brought and the defensive routine of his remained unproductive for the Chicago White Sox.
