Chicago White Sox outdo Cleveland Indians 9-3 – MLB Recap
The Chicago White Sox snapped the Cleveland Indians four-game winning streak when they defeated them 9-3 in the first game of their three game regular series encounter on Friday, May 25 at U.S. Cellular Field in 2012 Major League Baseball season.
Adam Dunn hit his 15th homer of the ongoing MLB season and gave his team a winning combination to overcome the Indians in balanced a manner.
"We have a good feeling," White Sox’s Cather Pierzynski said on his team’s win. "There's been some ups and downs, but at the end of the day, when we come in, we know that there's a positive vibe. Guys want to do well. Guys are trying to do well. They're working their tails off to do well. We know we're in for a dogfight, but at the end of the day, we like where we're at. We like our chances. If we continue to pitch and get some hits like we have, we should be able to win."
Indians were coming into this game with huge confidence, but soon they realised as they have found themselves in bitter despair where their opponents were looking more courageous and quite in a winning mood.
White Sox certainly showed some early residence and eventually pushed their thrust button towards a superb win. Taking early lead in the very first inning, the White Sox played intelligently and eventually pushed the Indians with full force and took the game away in final three innings. Though the Indians, at start also played nicely, but the White Sox never allowed them to settle in the game and slowly outplayed their opponents in the end.
Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox are two teams who will be qualifying into the post season from their Division as they both are very close with very little margin of win percentage.
Indians sitting at top while the White are just one place behind in the American League Central.
Indians at the moment carrying .578 winning percentage while the White Sox’s have .522 winning percentage along with 24-22 win loss record.
