Chicago White Sox pitcher Chris Sale gets MRI on elbow – MLB News
The Chicago White Sox pitcher Chris Sale is going to get MRI examination on his elbow in order to get the real results of damage and also somewhat the total mind satisfaction.
Though this is not serious situation, but still the management is determine to carry this procedure for better understanding of his strained elbow. The management is also calling this a precautionary measure which is needed for the better understanding of current condition.
Team manager Robin Ventura said on Wednesday for his player, "That's something we'll go over when we get back home. I don't see it that way (a return to the rotation this season), but this all happened pretty fast. Getting everybody in the room and expressing it face-to-face is probably the best thing to do.”
Later pitching coach Don Cooper also said for Sale’s condition, “If and when we sit down and talk, if we decide he goes back out to start, he goes out to start, If not, he's in the pen. We are trying to get him through the season healthy, and we want to get him the work that he needs.”
Earlier when Sale complained about the soreness in his elbow and he was taken out of the field, the White Sox team manager Robin Ventura never stated in the media which could have related to the late reports that White Sox manager wants him in the rotation back for more consistent results.
However, some facts are now revealing that Ventura was not in favour of Sale’s induction into the roster early as he was injured. He made sure that sale must rest and comeback with style.
Before getting injured, the two-year veteran was playing with 2.73 ERA along with 30 strikeouts and 1.03 WHIP. In the meanwhile, this is still his start of the career, but the way his team and management is treating him, also shows their interest in his game.
Chris Sale on the other hand, has also Minor League experience and with only two years in the big league, he has already understood the tricks to be a good a consistent player.
